The Gamo PT-85 is a 4.5 mm CO2 pellet pistol with a rifled steel barrel, metal blowback slide and single- or double-action operation. Its supplied rotary magazine assembly carries eight pellets at each end for 16 shots before both ends have been used.

Who this configuration suits
Consider the PT-85 when pellet compatibility, blowback operation and a rotary magazine are required. Blowback uses part of the CO2 charge to cycle the slide.
Included items and compatibility
Use compatible 4.5 mm pellets and the CO2 cartridge size stated in the manual. Calibre alone does not make steel BBs or unusually long pellets compatible.

Initially loved the feel and look of the gun with an excellent weight to boot. After a few months however I noticed the gas cartridges were leaking out almost immediately after they inserting them. After googling the problem, it appears the rubber that stops the cartridge from leaking, becomes hard and forms the shape of the cartridge and, unless you’re lucky and place the next one in precisely the same position as the last, you will lose all the gas before firing a round.
Emailed Gamo but still waiting for their response. Would be nice if the rubbers were sold separately to replace the existing one. I’d buy 10 and love my gun again!
