How to compare Gamo air pistols
Start with the exact ammunition and power source. A pistol designed for pellets is not automatically compatible with steel BBs, and a magazine may exclude long-skirt or unusually shaped pellets. Follow the product page and manufacturer instructions for the exact model.

Can every 4.5 mm pistol shoot both pellets and BBs?

What is blowback?
On compatible CO2 models, some gas operates the slide during firing. This affects the operating feel and gas use; it does not change the ammunition rules.
What safety equipment should I use?
Follow the manufacturer manual, use suitable eye protection and a secure backstop, and treat every airgun as loaded.
